Waldorf University鈥檚 Distinguished Visiting Writer Series presents Fiction Writer K.L. Cook on Tuesday, February 13, from 7-8 p.m. in the Salveson Ballroom on campus.

Waldorf University is pleased to welcome nationally recognized motivational speaker Lamarr Womble to campus Monday, January 15, in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Womble will speak on passion, diversity and inclusion from 10:15-11:15 a.m. in the Atrium.

Waldorf University鈥檚 Alpha Chi Honor Society recently awarded two $500 grants for undergraduate student research. This year鈥檚 recipients are: Diana Humble from Stewartville, Minn. and Sara Vettleson-Trutza from Spring Grove, Minn.

The Waldorf University History Department will be hosting its 2^nd annual History Student Symposium on Wednesday, November 29 in the Salveson Hall Ballroom.聽

Four Waldorf University Creative Writing students were selected to share their poetry at the Streamlines conference held November 11 at Clarke University in Dubuque, Iowa.聽

Three Waldorf University students earned recognition at the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) competition at Drake University on November 3-4.

Waldorf University鈥檚 Department of Music is pleased to present Christmas with Waldorf, December 1-2 at 7 p.m. and December 3 at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Forest City. Christmas with the Waldorf University Wind Symphony will be held on December 7 at 7 p.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Forest City. This year鈥檚 theme is 鈥淭his Shining Night.鈥�
