FOREST CITY, IOWA, November 13, 2017 鈥撎 The Waldorf University History Department will be hosting its 2nd annual History Student Symposium on Wednesday, November 29 in the Salveson Hall Ballroom.听

Ten Waldorf University students will be presenting during the Symposium on a range of research topics, including the Vietnam War, race relations within NASA, the Pequot War, evolution of steam power and World War I.听

鈥淲e are excited to showcase the talents of our history students at this year鈥檚 Student History Symposium,鈥 said Waldorf University Instructor of History Kevin Mason. 鈥淲e invite the community to this event to not only learn about history, but to get to know the quality students we have at Waldorf University.鈥

The presentations will be held in two sessions: session 1 will run from 4-6 p.m., and session 2 will run from 7-9 p.m..

The Student Symposium is open to the public and free of charge.
