The Waldorf University Music Department will host their annual Spring Spectacular concerts on Saturday, April 26 and Sunday, April 27 in the Boman Fine Arts Center. The Spring Spectacular concerts consists of three separate concerts to be attended over the weekend.

The Waldorf Community Artist Series will host The World Famous Glenn Miller Orchestra on Monday, April 7 at 7 p.m. in the Boman Fine Arts Center.

Waldorf University is pleased to announce the hiring of Michael Wirth as Head Men鈥檚 Basketball Coach. Originally from Thompson, Iowa and a graduate of North Iowa High School in Buffalo Center, Iowa, Wirth returns to North Iowa from Arizona where he spent the last 23 years teaching and coaching basketball at various levels. Wirth helped form the Arizona Basketball Coaches Association and facilitated the association鈥檚 coaching clinic for multiple years, developing relationships with high school and college coaches. Most recently, he served as founder and Director of 3D Hoops Club program and Director of Basketball Operations for Iron Country Basketball Training and Performance Center.

Waldorf University is proud to announce that the U.S. Department of Education has approved Waldorf鈥檚 request to convert to nonprofit status. This is the final step of the process since the Higher Learning Commission, the IRS, and the State of Iowa had previously approved the Change in Ownership.

Waldorf University will host a Creative Writing Festival for prospective students on Thursday, March 6 at 12:30 p.m. on the Waldorf University campus.

The Waldorf University Music Department will host their third annual Waldorf University Community Masterwork Festival on Thursday, March 6 at 7 p.m. in the Boman Fine Art Center.

The Waldorf University Jazz Ensemble will host their annual Fat Tuesday Jazz Concert on Tuesday, March 4 at 7 p.m. in the Boman Fine Arts Center with Garner-Hayfield-Ventura High School Jazz Band as the special guest of the evening.
