Waldorf University will be sponsoring a Breadline December 9 in conjunction with Forest City鈥檚 Christmas celebration.

Waldorf University鈥檚 Alpha Chi Honor Society recently awarded two $500 grants for undergraduate student research. This year鈥檚 recipients are: Diana Humble from Stewartville, Minn. and Sara Vettleson-Trutza from Spring Grove, Minn.

The Waldorf University History Department will be hosting its 2^nd annual History Student Symposium on Wednesday, November 29 in the Salveson Hall Ballroom.聽

Four Waldorf University Creative Writing students were selected to share their poetry at the Streamlines conference held November 11 at Clarke University in Dubuque, Iowa.聽

Three Waldorf University students earned recognition at the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) competition at Drake University on November 3-4.

Waldorf University鈥檚 Department of Music is pleased to present Christmas with Waldorf, December 1-2 at 7 p.m. and December 3 at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Forest City. Christmas with the Waldorf University Wind Symphony will be held on December 7 at 7 p.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Forest City. This year鈥檚 theme is 鈥淭his Shining Night.鈥�

Two alum were recently recognized during Waldorf University鈥檚 Homecoming festivities with the prestigious Alumni Distinguished Service Award.聽

2017 Iowa Teacher of the Year and Waldorf alum Shelly (Wentzel) Vroegh will speak at Waldorf University on Wednesday, November 15 at 6:15 p.m. in the Salveson Ballroom. The public is invited to attend.

Hannah Marsh has joined Waldorf University as director of alumni relations and gift officer.聽

Waldorf University鈥檚 Faculty Inquiere will take place on Tuesday, November 7 starting at 6:30 p.m. in the Luise V. Hanson Library, room 201.
